Thursday, 11th March chat
« on: March 11, 2010, 07:45:01 AM »

Morning all!  Can't wait to see Uncy's pic this morning - blast from the past or what?

Chilly and frosrty here this morning, but forecast wall-to-wall blue sky and sunshine with a temperature of 8C.  Asda shopping today with a side excursion to see an accountant to voluntarily liquidate my little company.  We used it in the past to put earnings through whenever I got consulting assignments.  Now I have taken the decision to fully retire and spend more time at home.

Have a good rootling, tootling and footling day!

Colin

A very good morning Colin from Colin no.2
A very good morning to everyone who may pop in.
I can't recommend retirement too much Colin, it's great not having to do things by other peoples calendars.

Another pottering day for me, although some pottering will take place in the garden once the sun comes round.
Have a good day all.

Thanks TD  :)

This was a photo in one of those little cardboard wallets that those seaside photographers use to take and then give you a slip to collect them.
Tbh I'm surprised my mum bought them(she must have had a win on the bingo) :D

'Allo'Allo Everyone  !     Scotty has been for his shampoo and set this morning, not too short because it is rather cold still  :'(   ( he looks like a small sheep  !  but don't tell him  ;D  )   I'm struggling slightly with my back again   so  I'll visit  the pharmacy later to see if they will duplicate my old prescription for strong pain killers/ant inflammatory   .....   I'll admit to being a wuss when it comes to pain    ::)

Hope everyone is well   ...  all this nostalgia made me start looking for old photos, I don't know where most of them are now ...but I do have this one.    I was about 5 years young and I remember distinctly  going to a studio to have this taken  ...haven't a clue what for !    If you can smarten it up TD I'd be grateful  :)

It's getting like all our yesterdays isn't it  ;D

Have a good day all

The one thing I have noticed about these old photo's is that we all scrubbed up well. :D

Our mums must have all had the same bar of Carbolic soap.  :scare:
