Good morning all 

This is me and my dad's auntie,Whit Sunday 1961. 

We use to visit her every 3rd Sunday,me,my dad and my sister.(my mum was always busy doing the Sunday lunch).She would make me and my sister sausage rolls and always give my dad a tot of rum.
She was very strict and if you ever spilled anything 
But she was a lovely lady,she never married.She was engaged to be married but her fiance was killed in WW1.She spent the rest of her life as a spinster until she died in the 1970's.

Just thought I would share that memory with you

Love the photos, what good memories they hold and lovely to share.  @ Uncy... was that a Brylcreem "hair do".... lol think all the men used it didn't they lol.

You only needed it on the top as there wasn't much hair to stick down on the back and sides..
