Sorry, I forgot too add.. that when this happens a reboot is the only thing that resolves it, it IS over wifi on 5Ghz and im the only one using it, it is literally a few feet away, BUT in the room underneath, signal strength is -50db and its defo not that, I get a solid 300Mbps connection using PCI-E 3x3 Intel Wifi card in my PC with 3 external Antenna, also there are no overlapping neighbouring networks, ive checked on inssider, speed is solid 37.5Mbps 24/7 for few weeks, then when i notice its happened I reboot the router and its all fine for another 2 weeks, so its not the wifi otherwise it would be like that all the time?
yeah Ive read lots of bad things about the 5A (Lantiq chipset) and why they had to make the 5B - my sister has one, maybe I will get it off her sometime, and ECI cabs arent without their downsides
everyone that has a decent connection without issues seem to have Broadcom to Huawei (Broadcom is it?) - whereas Ive noticed people on ECI cabs having issues of late
I just havent got the money to buy a replacement router
