Ok, so I keep losing connection to my Netgear DG834G router, or it goes slow.
My master socket is behind my TV, so I have my router plugged into it, and stood on my tv cabinet behind my tv. I also have a cordless phone on the tv cabinet, along with all the usuals, Speakers, and Sky.
I am aware this is probably a bad place to put it, however, my PS3 is right there and I have it plugged into the router via ethernet.
Does this all seem ok, or is it the worst setup possible?!!
Only other choice I have is to plug the router into the upstairs phone socket, and have the router on the floor (on it's stand), however this means online gaming could be a problem as it's going wireless.
Any ideas? Thanks.
