Thursday Chat (2nd Oct)
« on: October 02, 2008, 08:55:26 AM »

Morning everyone,

Sun is out and looks lovely this morning, little cold though but at least bright.  Hope you all have a good day whatever you're doing.

Chrissie

PS  @Kitz, thank you for the link to the budgies in the wild, it was lovely to see x

Just taking a break from tidying the flat at the moment. Had to re-do the washing up, because although my flatmate tried, bless him, he didn't do it so well. Had to take him to the laundrette yesterday to teach him how to use it! Bloke's lived on his own for 8 years and has never used the self-service.

But I'm tidying like a mad-woman because Sam's coming down from Lincoln today, and I've been fairly ill the past few days (damn freshers flu - i'm not even a student! that's what you get for spending freshers week in a student city...) and the last thing anyone wants to do when they're ill is clean, especially when I still had work.

Taking Sam to the Tache tonight, because he's spent the past 2 years hearing about Tache Thursdays from Math, yet never been. Everyone must experience a Tache Thursday. haha.

Beware of men not doing jobs too well  !!!!    it could be  because they don't want to do it again   ;D

Took Scotty for his  annual anti-Rabies jab this morning - so he was none too happy with me   :(   Just getting ready to start painting again  ...did quite a lot yesterday and hopefully I will get it finished today ...  you'll be pleased to hear that we had rain overnight   ....  and also pleased to hear that it's now sunny again   ;)   ttfn  ...

Hence why we're very good at 'accidentally' breaking things whilst washing up.

no, the hangover was sunday. The flu started the day after I got home. Proper, full on, snot-and-everything flu XD

(so definatly not a hangover :P)

& that's probably his tactic, but meh.

I really don't know what you mean. We're just weak and not very capable, but we do our best. It would be safer and less stressful for all concerned if you ladies were to do everything for us.

But everything else was pale blue or pink..  or towels which are peach/cream.
I didnt see the bright deep and very dark purple top that you also put in.   :D
I normally do blacks/navy blue/purple as a "darks" wash  :'(

Problem Solved.

1-30 to 6-00 are pale coloureds

6-00 to 11-00 are dark coloureds

11-00 to 1-30 are "wont show dirt" coloureds
