Author Topic: VM Starting to Rollout 100Mbps Upload Speed to the Wider Gig1 Customer Base  (Read 2923 times)

Starting from Friday this past week, lots of customers have reported been uplifted from 50mbit upload to 100mbit upload on VM's Gig1 package.

Likely to be mid 90s % across the customer base with some areas still needing works to be completed to get the upgrade.

Probably should change the title to reflect you are referring to upload speed, as I nearly didn't look at this as I assumed it meant download which obviously wouldn't be as noteworthy.

I have the speed increase now, shaped it at 97558kbit double my previous, without the shaping latency up 80ms during uploads, with it, no change from base latency.

I will likely do a few tests at peak to see if any fluctuation, hopefully not.
