Well They have gone,3am on the dot.We watched from our bedroom window.Quite painless really. You could see hundreds of camera's flashing as the went down.

Don't know what happened to TD on the chimney pot, either he got caught in the fallout or he went home because his SNR was too low  (Sausages Never Received

Thanks Uncy, was waiting to see the pic...I read the news that one of the towers wouldn't go quietly lol....see they managed in the end.  I hope they don't spoil your view with a monster building in place of the towers....progress doesn't always mean good does it.

Thanks for the pic, unkyUb............certainly does alter the view.

Yes, TD was blown off the lum by the force of the blast and is now back home recovering.  :D
The lack of free sausages weighed heavily in the decision to return home.  :D

They didn't get the demolition quite right, according to the early BBC news, and a bit of one tower was left standing..............but that seems to have been rectified now. Old Fred Dibnah would not have made that sort of error.

Yes,the M1 remains closed till they have checked the Tinsley Viaduct for any problems.Saying that the Tinsley Viaduct has had nothing but problems since it was opened in the 1960's
You are right TD old Fred would have had that down in no time and ,couple of blasts on his horn and straight in the pub. :D
