Kitz, I tried em all. except the BT one which says that my user id is not what they have registered for the phone line, so that's out.
If what you say about the BT QOS is correct, then thats the first concrete bit of info I have recieved on that, so thank you. Up till a week ago that is exactly the sort of quality I WAS getting: Suddenly it's crumbled.
I am getting a strong suspicion that I am sharing a link with a fairly heavy business user: the times are suggestive, and I am wondering if he (I think its a single person) has a megastream or something pretty hefty wired in, that is pushing the exchange beyond its limits.I am not 100% sure as to what the exchange feed is: at least one is only fed from a small microwave dish, so can't be overly supplied with bandwidth.
Ok my next step would seem to be to escalate it as politely as possible up the food chain at Claranet. If I can demonstrate BT is below spec, they can take it up.
