So it looks like we had a power cut overnight, and my line must have been one of the first to resync, as I woke up this morning and saw my sync at this (yes I was checking on my phone)




I know the sync will drop shortly and I'll be back to my normal 38/6, and I can't even enjoy the faster download speeds as I'm on the up to 40meg package with Plusnet  but I guess this shows what my line could potentially be capable of when / IF vectoring is ever enabled on my ECI cabl

I had similar recently  although my line stayed synced throughout as it's on a UPS. Interleaved attainable went to 53,892Kbps briefly before levelling off at 47,688Kbps then dropping back to 41520 when the power came back on.

I take it you will be rebooting the FTTC modem soon as your SNRM is very low and you don't want the DLM to intervene, just keep an eye on your errored seconds.

I expected it to have dropped already to be honest, I'll be rebooting it early in the morning, seems to be the best time to get a decent sync which hover between 5-6, if I do it now I'll end up with about 30Mbps down and 5 up

I remember seeing a user on MDWS who's SNRm sat at 1.0 to 0.6 dB for many weeks and was moved off fastpath and then onto interleaving it was fasinating to watch but i knew the outcome.

if vectoring requires g.inp then will vectoring be downstream only on ECI, hmmmz.

I had a brownout today but everything survived including my pc's, just had the lights dim for a second, plus loads of street alarms going off.

I know it's not going to be as effective, but if vectoring gets me anywhere near that sync I'll be happy. It's more the upload I'm after, 36meg down does me 99% of the time.
