Seriously though with articles that arent properly researched you can see why it gets the nick of Daily Fail.  The other most watched videos:  A kid apparently pushed by a ghost and a debate over the colour of a dress  ::)  Slow day in the news or something?  :-X

The dress story might not be what you think! It is big news worldwide, covered by the likes of the BBC, Guardian, Independent too and I find it fascinating.

(I see the dress as blue and black. Last night after updating my thread here on kitz, I came across it again on a news website and this time it looked white and gold. I freaked out, I checked site after site, looked on different devices, it really was white and gold for about 10 minutes. I suspect the Kitz colour scheme might have had a hand in 'switching' me and don't mind admitting I want to induce it again!)

The dress is really weird.

In the first photo I saw a definite blue & black, but this is the photo that gets me.   When I first look at it I see a very pale blue and gold, then as I scroll down I see a definite blue & black.   It changes everytime.

I suspect you may be right in that surrounding colour scheme can affect things, so not sure if the same effect when I post here.   I should imagine it very well can change depending upon the brightness of the device screen/monitor.




ETA - now that its placed against a grey background in the forum...  it definitely looks blue black again to me.  ???
