Yes, it's a not uncommon experience. The phone doesn't work at all, but enough ADSL signal gets through to give some sort of connection.

Good to know, thanks for that :)

My typical QLN, it is almost flat.

Why does yours not start at 150?

I was beginning to equate 150 = pure silence or something...

I really don't know what to make of that one. It's very strange - the whole range seems to be pushed upwards by 20-30 dBm/Hz.

Here is one from last night. I've just noticed it doesn't have as many tone numbers listed, however it appears much smoother... (I won't upload it twice this time.)

You can adjust the viewable horizontal range by using the Compress/Expand control under the graph.

notaclue: you have still high average QLN probably caused by significant crosstalks from other phone lines.

I guess I'm SOL to try and fix that then? (apologies if I am hijacking this thread or anything)

You're not hijacking the thread, but those high values of QLN do indicate some significant issue with your connection, so it would be worth raising it as a separate topic where other factors can be investigated.

Feel free to crack on here.

We're all trying to get to the root of these problems and it could be argued that fragmenting them across several threads doesn't help us get there any quicker but whatever works best for you :)
