DGTeam have released version 1012 of their firmware for DG834GT. This is based on the latest Netgear firmware version 1.03.23, but with a lot of DGTeam enhancements and bugfixes. There doesn't appear to be a published changelog for this version yet.

Given the various "issues" being discussed (as RW knows) in the DGTeam forums I think these latest 10xx releases are maybe for the "experts" at present.

You may be right, but most of the items being discussed in the forum seem to have been solved in this version. The changelog is here.

Updated from the GUI and so far no problems but not really done any tests.

My DYNS name setting had been lost so had to re-enter.

Attached Devices seems to be OK.

Login out screen does not now give the option to close window or not, not a issue just a change.

I also updated mine using the GUI, with no problems. I can't comment on performance because I'm not currently using the DG834GT, I'm testing another router.
