The quoted wireless N speed is an 'up to' figure anyway, and the advertised speed is unlikely to be achieved in practice, so I would say that the difference in spec is insignificant. The DGN2000 has a Broadcom 6348 chip, whereas the DG834N has the later 6358 chip, so there may possibly be a difference in ADSL performance there (but on some connections the 6348 performs better than the 6358).
