What Does Sky Purchase from BT?

What bits / services does Sky buy from BT in the case of LLU or FTTC ?
And in the case of ADSL (as opposed to FTTx), does Sky sometimes sell service over non-LLU lines?

Sky also buys a cablelink from BT. The fibre cable from the fttc cab goes to the BT exchange and terminates on BT's layer 2 switch, the cablelink connects BT's switch to Sky's switch in the exchange, traffic is then backhauled to Sky's core network.

So they have their own separate physical pipe out of the exchange to Sky-land?

thats openreach not BTw for those cables.
Remember we talking about different divisions of BT, not BT as a whole.
FTTC to exchange is openreach. Any leased links between exchanges are leased from openreach also.

Yep, for both LLU and FTTC, they go over the same backhaul.. although not necessarily the same pipe. Hence why even though FTTC isnt really LLU, we still use the phrase 'LLU providers' with FTTC due to them using their LLU backhaul out of the exchange.
