Asus has just releashed the RT-AC88U, it has 8 gigabit ports.  :o spotted it in the changelog for Merlin firmware.

I think Asus missed the mark with it, shame, as if it had been designed to include a dsl modem, they would be on a winner with it.

RT series does not have a DSL modem. the DSL series does. There may well be a DSL version of it in the works.
