I rather suspect that the first one is a Photoshop spoof, but I can certainly believe the second one. ;D

I think that one has already been exposed as a spoof, unfortunately. :)

Funny enough I was reliving a day when I was trying to provide a new line to one of those portable bungalows. As usual all the services fed right in the middle of the unit so I had to crawl under the unit to push the cable through the floor. but at least the new underground cable that had just been fitted by the contractor went 80 meters so that should get to the joint box ok....

Wasnt there, so out came the CAT and genny, cable goes across the front garden, across the road, then seems to go round and around in a neighbours front garden. Yes thats as far as they dug, then dumped the remaining coil at the bottom of the hole they had just dug and buried it ! And i'm supposed to connect it to the network how ? Magic !

Look at the van and what the workmen have done ................... how do they get it out?   (though we know this is actually Photoshopped)

Aha !! Thanks for bringing clarity to that picture Adrian.  ;D

I'll hold my hands up and say I hadn't noticed it, but photoshopped or not, we have hundreds of bollards similar to those all aroung Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, and by procuring a key from those responsible, we can remove any or all bollards required, to gain access to pedestrian sites.

Still, now the bleeding obvious has been pointed out to me, it does bring a smile.  ;D
