Spanish golf legend Seve Ballesteros has died after a protracted battle with cancer.

The 54-year-old passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Pedrena, northern Spain, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It is sad news Unc  ...   I'm not very interested in golf, but he was always my favourite in any tournament; to be so  cruelly lost   at such a young age is dreadful  :(

Sad news indeed, he will always be remembered for being the gentleman that he was. May you have many happy hour on the great golf course in the sky. RIP Seve
