Your Avatar Name , what does it mean ?.

Tickmike = where I live and my first name and the Penguin = because I like Linux.

I have always liked nature, specially birds........and have always thought the tufteddduck to be the prettiest duck.

So, when I bought my yacht in which to do my circumnavigation, she was named Tuftedduck........and I just followed suit.  :)

wow TD I had no idea I was in such well travelled company.

Roseway: it should be the other way round. You named the house after you.

Mine seems rather dull and rather common now reading the above.

I bet you wouldn't have guessed that what hair I have has turned somewhat silver and I was born in 1944.
I'll leave you to work out where I get my avatar from. :)

The photo was taken by my wife, and is out of focus, in the Gardens of Easton Lodge on a Snowdrop Sunday.

The village we live in, followed by my surname.  The avatar, just a play on our getaway means - spoofed of course.  Our motorhome is like this one really:

This is an interesting thread, you learn summat every day, especially on here lol.  My reply to this isn't interesting....boring in fact as my ID is my real name  ::) 

The avatar pic is my darling little boy who is no longer with us and even after 2 years I miss him like hell  :(  he was so intelligent (more than some peeps who pass for hoomans out there methinks lol) and he was so loving too....all in a tiny bird who used to say, "he loves his mummy, yes he do..."  :lol:  and of course I'm sure he meant it  ;D.

In fact I love Broadstairs the place, spent many a happy hour on holiday there in the "good old days" lol...and have popped back there on occasions to sit on the beach.  Lovely sand there even though I don't like it on my feet lol.
