in tab 5 there are the following settings:
lpair inner/outer
trellis on/off
bitswap on/off
sra on/off
what are they for or should i leave them alone.

If you don't know, leave them well alone!  >:D
 (mostly won't do anything useful anyway)

Line Pair - use either the inner or outer pair of the RJ-11 modem cable.

trellis on/off
A type of code modulation used in error correction.  See http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/error_correction.htm#Trellis

bitswap on/off
A method of redistributing bits away from noisier areas of the ADSL spectrum.  See http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adsl_technology.htm#bit_swapping

sra on/off
Seamless Rate Adaption - basically adapts the sync rate of your line without needing a resync and isn't applicable unless you are with an ISP that provides this (apparently only UKOnline at present).  See http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adsl_technology.htm#SRA


There's not really any point in playing with any of the above as all it's likely to do is cause problems.
