Huawei echolife HG520

Has anyone used this Modem/Router?. Any comments most welcome.

I have one supplied by Talktalk when I joined and no I dont use it, for me its not feature rich enough so I use a D-Link DSL-2740B. IS this oen supplied by TT?

yes that`s correct have not got it yet just wondering what they were like. by the way what deal are you on, i have been offered TalkTalk Pro.

I signed up on a deal last year and its not now available. TT Pro would be interesting for me if I could get more than 8meg download and they offered a fixed IP. However it appears that fixed IP may not be available and I cannot get more than 8meg so its not worth it. My deal includes unlimited landline calls world wide and I dont think that is available either now certainly not at the price I'm paying, just under £22 a month  including broadband.

once i get the full details i will let you know. The price is £26.24 broadband and phone, i was told speed would be 12.5 but will wait and see.

I've had a play with one of these (M-I-L got one off TT). It's pretty basic, with no tweakable bits in terms of snrm etc. that I've found, and no routerstats or DMT will work with it  :(

Just received my router and it is not a Echolife, but a Netgear DGN 2000.
