Morning all :)

I've been doing some technical twiddling stuff this morning, but I'm back in the land of normal people, and enjoying another sunny day (sorry TD :( ).

Yesterday we discovered another small but delightful woodland nature reserve near here (Poulton Wood) which is owned by the Canterbury Oast Trust and managed as a work experience and training place for adults with learning disabilities. As well as managing the woods they also teach and demonstrate woodland crafts and similar activities. It's a wonderful oasis of calm and beauty.

Allo Allo   .....   Good morning TD  .....    we won't talk about your rain  !       Busy morning !   Our man "who does"  isn't able to at the moment so I've been hedge cutting, which I quite enjoy, it's the picking up of all the bits I don't like  ::)   It's coffee time  !  ;D    Had to go the vet yesterday with Scotty,   I noticed he had lost his hair under his left 'armpit'  :o  so not wanting to take any chances whisked him off ....not sure if he's been bitten, stung or what but it's nothing serious.   He was given an antibiotic injection immediately, and we came away with a supply of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory tablets and a lotion   .....   he wasn't keen on the lotion which contains iodine and he doesn't know he's had his tablets this morning  ;D ( disguised in a  morsel of very good Brie  !! )    It doesn't seem to have affected his energy levels ! he's bounding about like a fool  ;D

I hope Kitz  feels better soon, and I would ask anyone who  might be in touch with her, pass on my best wishes.

Just had the red warning that someone else has posted -  Good morning Eric ...  that place sounds idyllic and what a lovely opportunity, quite rightly, given to those people .

A good day to everyone !   :)

Hi Kate,we are going to Thetford Forest in Norfolk. We went last May for a few days and really enjoyed it so we are going this time for 10 nights.I think Norfolk and Suffolk are lovely counties and seem to get some of the best UK weather.

I just listened to the two-week weather forecast for the UK. They are predicting 14 days of torrential rain in East Anglia. ::) :-X

Ignore them Uncy, the forecast for East Anglia for the next few days or so is not too bad - we don't get a lot of rain here in the east.

BTW if you're visiting Norwich at all, feel free to pop in for a cuppa... PM me to arrange an appointment.
