Tiscali Business Package Changes
« on: May 16, 2009, 04:44:38 PM »

Hi all came across some package changes to Tiscali Business broadband.
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/business/

I notice their "Pro" package offers upto 16meg along with 20:1 contention!

Interesting but the changes have probably happened before the CPW buyout.

AFAIK they're still current products. Take a look at these though -

The Premium Plus option on this page appears to be ADSL 2+ AnnexM (I surmise this since they're offering the enhanced upload speeds)...

Too many things can go wrong with it in the hands of end users - too many things a service provider could be blamed for, and lets face it most users have no patience for diagnostics. It's not a service that you can connect a modem up to and have any guarantee it'll work first time out of the box. Without quantifiable config and site setups, and decent 1st line diagnostics it's just too complex and expensive to support. Sadly, I think it's all down to money :(
