Morning all from a cold and frosty sarff east.  Yes Happy Birthday Yorkie, hope you have a great day whatever you're going to be doing.

Hope everyone else has a good day too and that those who are unwell will soon be feeling much better.  Kitz, hope the doc can help you...nuisance when you can't get an appointment soonest, but it seems to be the normal now wherever you are  :(

Yes, Happy Birthday Yorkie.

And to all other Kitizens (including Kitz herself), and all the others suffering from poor health at the moment - GET WELL SOON

many happy returns Yorkie. At least the candles on the cake will give a little bit more warmth. ;D

I've finaly succumed to this lurgy going round as it seems everyone around me has just had it or has got it now. Thankfully feel better now than this early morling.  My legs back and arms feel stiff but not as bad as earlyer this am.

I'm in a different part of the exchange at the moment so I don't spread it to the others here. still waiting for a few more to arrive as we're going to have a annual safety check on fitting a new drop wire accross a road  (this time of year, nice) and going into a underground joint box  :) (don't mind ug stuff)

A question for the 'bird' people.

Sue has hung some fat balls on our plum tree, yet the birds are not touching them. The plum tree tree is quite close to the house. She has put some nuts and seeds out and they have scoffed them but not the FB's ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated  :)

They are weight watching  :'(

OR   ... they prefer the other food on offer  ..  perhaps  try  leaving  just the fat balls out and see what happens !

It can take a day or two for the birds to find new food offerings. Starlings and tits love fat balls, so they will probably turn up any time soon.

Afternoon All,

Thank you for your birthday wishes.

The first time I hung mine out, it took about four days before they really showed any interest.

Poor Kitz I do recall someone saying when they had an infection it felt as if they had been kicked by a mule.

Well that was short and brief.
