The music in that ad was taken from the largo of the symphony "From the New World" composed by Antonin Dvorack.
Someone wrote lyrics for it, and the resultant song became known as Going Home

Dead....gone home......I'm still no nearer solving this, though.. :blush:

Is there a Brownbread in the UK   ?  ;D      the avert was for Hovis  and Bronwbread is rhyming slang so I suppose there could be some FL in there  :D
