Morning to each and all on a wet and windy morning, albeit very mild.

TD has to wait around today as a little accident yesterday, self inflicted, has caused him to call in the wee man in a van to come and put a new windscreen in his horseless carriage.
Lesson for today.........never try to move heavy objects in your garage if the car is still in there..

Not been a good couple of days....

Too too true! The two sons of a chap I used to work with once managed to completely write off his car while it was in the garage. The method involved riding their bikes down the sloping garden, straight through the window at the back of the garage, and slap bang onto the car inside. It wasn't worth repairing afterwards. Dangerous places, garages.

Weather is being fairly kind to us here at the moment, so we're going out for a nature ramble this afternoon. Have a nice day all.

Mornin all,TD,its not been the best of the last couple of days for you.   At least you're here to tell the tale,thats the main thing   
Ub is now off (once again) to Meadowhell Meadowhall for more pain and suffering retail therapy.I can see the new camera slowly being taken from my grasp.
Still saying that there is a Jessops down there,so who knows.

@TD      ,I wish.I did manage to come away with their free catalogue. 
Some of those DSLR's looked right beasts............UB starts to dream again.
Sue told me to keep my eyes on one(because I will never get my hands on one!!!)

that's what the internet's all about.

Still waiting to get my heating fixed, should have been yesterday but they are still waiting for a part to arrive (they have gone for the repair rather than the replace option).

This waiting for tradesman and/or spare parts seems to be the thing these days, service has gone.
Waited all day for the man to come and replace my windscreen and was thinking forty five minutes ago that he would not turn today, nearly going home time.
However he did appear and give the young lad his due, he knew what he was doing..........that old screen was out and a new one in in a twinkling of the eye....and a lovely clean job too.
That is a tradesman who deserves a bit of praise.

Just got to wait an hour or so for the new bond to properly dry, then I'm off ( Grab a Granny Dance Night  )

As regards children in need,all it seems to me is a few hours of so called celebraties and pop stars trying to inflate their already inflated ego's and promote their latest records.You just see the same faces every year (yawn)
