Some who could do that to anyone who is frail and elderly probably wouldnt give a toss about who they are and what they did in the past.
Nevermind about what they did in the war or fighting for the country.. cause they probably dont give a toss about that either.

More likely they are only focussed on where they can get some easy £ for their next hit.  :'(

We observed 2 minutes silence at 11am today. I tried to, but spent the 2 minutes constantly hushing a little ratbag of a child (11 years old) who wouldn't stay quiet. I had to take him out of the room and stand by the door, keeping an eye on the class and this kid.

No conscience, didn't even know what he'd done wrong. It's very worrying.

An update on this sad story.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lancashire/7729075.stm

This elderly war veteran was beaten nearly to pulp and nearly to death by a fine example of the modern day hero.

It took sixteen of them to inflict the damage on the old soul.

WTH?

That doesnt make sense.  16 people beat him up in his home in Salterforth.
The 16 males between 17-55 were arrested in Blackpool which is miles away and no where near Salterforth (which is nearer Leeds than Blackpool).
16 males to one elderly man.

Sickening!
