Mornin all,August bank holiday again.Where's those 8 months gone!! Bright and breezy here,Sues at work( well somebody has to cater for the bank holiday shoppers).She doesn't know what its like to have a bank holiday off.
Seems  a bit wierd looking out of the side bedroom window and not seeing the cooling towers anymore.
@ Chrissie,just keep chilled out and stress free prior to your plastering.You will soon be mess free in no time and will wonder what the fuss was all about.Always think it could be a lot worse(remembering back to last years flooding).
Have a nice holiday wherever you are.

Nice and bright here so far, looks like it might be a nice day.

Yep it's the last bank holiday of the year... downhill all the way now to the Bah! Humbug! season.

It's like November here today.  Dark, heavy lowering clouds, lashing rain, gale force winds. At this time of year the street lamps go out normally just about 6 am, but today they were on untill about 7.15 am.............pity anybody having a holiday here.

T'is horrible here today.

Had to go put another jumper on, and I'm still not too warm and am resisting the urge to turn the central heating on.

Wow - just had a flock of Longtailed Tits in my Hebe bush which is about four paces away from back door, stood and watched them flitting about and giving high pitched chirrups before they moved on to next door but ones Buddleia, mines not good enough

This may seem common place to some of you but I am in an urban environment, behind me where that whacking great pylon is there is waste ground with a cycle track that is partly managed as a wildlife haven, so I am lucky in that respect.
