Speeds on YF have been great until yesterday!

During work hours yesterday and today, my 500 service is downloading at between 13 and 40 mbit/sec.

Yesterday evening, it improved to ~300, which is still a little low, but still fast.  Wondering if there’s a bit of a temporary issue with them at the moment.  Have logged a ticket, and will post back with any info.

Anyone else seeing this on YF?

(WiFi checks out fine — wireless LAN transfers are still plenty fast.  Have rebooted the ONT with no change)

Looks like I have a bad ethernet cable between my router and ONT!

I really should've plugged something directly into the ONT to test before causing a fuss.  Thanks to Mark and the YF support staff for their prompt help though.

(I can see in my logs that the link between my OPNsense box and the ONT is flipping between 100Mbit and 1Gbit.  The symptoms really felt like congestion, but I should've checked my side more thoroughly first!)

Good stuff. They plan well ahead of time in terms of capacity and I'd be very surprised if you saw any congestion either on your local segment or your backhaul.
