Crazy recipies
« on: April 29, 2008, 12:45:12 AM »

Ok, the idea here is anything you found you like as a snack or meal which perhaps others may think of as mad but you love. a
And who knows worth a try by others which may mean others thinking "you know what, this is acually quite tasty"

I'll start with 2

Crisps straight out of the frezzer (long story how I found this one out, but thicker cringl cut crisps work the best)

Cut french baggette with tuna and origano, a sread of mustard or horse radish is optional, light sprinkleing og cheese lightly grilled. then one egg, half fried/half mixed so a bit like a semi scrabmbled egg without the milk but with chopped spring onion all on top. then convered with rocket lettice and cucumber, chopped peppers a good option. Yum  :yum:

Come on, every one has at least one special personal dish which may be mis understood without a taste.......

Oh Good  a food section, now your talking.

Right, toast on boxing day morning spread with the turkey jelly.Let me explain, when the turkey is cooked xmas day you drain off all the fat and turkey juices into a dish, leave in fridge overnight.Remove the fat from the top and then you reveal the jellified turkey meat juices.Spread on the toast and IMO heaven.

A delicious lunch snack:

Grill two potato waffles until brown both sides. Liberally cover them with grated cheese and add a few glugs of Worcester sauce. Put back under the grill until the cheese is melted.

A toasted cheese, corned beef and onion sandwich, best done in a machine so the edges are sealed to keep the cheese in... and I could just eat one now  :-X
