What happened 3/4/16 @ 8pm
« on: April 04, 2016, 06:00:50 PM »

Hi

last night (3/4/16) at just after 8pm I got a resync email from DLSstats (reason 1 DLM).

No change in sync (banded at 35k down and 2k up (plusnet)) but upstream SNRM went from 16 to 24 (no change in attainable sync) and my downstream attainable sync seems much more stable today (limited data set)

username on DSLstats "dajg" like here.

TIA.

:hmm:  Hmm . . . wasn't it about the time that parts of the country experienced an atmospheric electrical disturbance? (Thunderstorms.)  :-\

Yes, but it was a DLM resync and the SNRM went UP substantially.

<Nods.> That I can see, as your circuit is the one I am currently monitoring.  :)

Isit remotely possible it had anything to do with new network? http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,147447.msg1314113.html#msg1314113

The change can produce a resync.

Thanks for the link but why would a DLM reset increase the SNRM upstream only and not remove the downstream banding?

Wait, I'm confused there is DLM reset or DLM resync? A DLM reset with remove any modification by DLM since your connection went live.
