can any one recommend a router only,for plusnet tv and ping stats was connsidering the Billion BiPAC 8800NL changed my mind only need a router not a combined modem and router

What about one of the ASUS routers? there's DSL and non-DSL variants, I have one of the latter set up as a wifi access point.

If you want something cheaper, the TP-Link Archer C2 (AC750) is good.

The ASUS do seem to get awfully good reviews when it comes to routing only and wifi, but they arent necessarily cheap

Have a Asus RT-N66U here, can't fault it, been superb, well worth the cash.
The only change was to put on the 'Merlin' frirmware, which I recommend to anyone who has this router.
