A snapshot of the cathedral tower, with the viewing station in the foreground.  If you click the thumbnail and go to the full sized image you can just about see the nesting platform on the right one of the two smaller windows towards the top of the tower.

Looking earlier this afternoon, just three of the young were visible. I know there were four eggs and then four hatchlings. I am beginning to wonder if only three have survived . . .

There certainly were 4 and I just sat watching the cams for several mins and I could only see three, but they were huddling a bit so difficult to count from the camera angle.

So I checked their blog and it appears that the smallest one died at the beginning of May - ]linky.  :(

I just happened to be walking past - I live about a quarter of a mile away from the cathedral.

Earlier this afternoon there was a lot of screaming for food, followed by flapping of wings and jumping up & down. One of the young hopped onto the edge, flapped her/his wings and looked over the side . . . It seemed as if take-off was about to occur. After thinking about it, s/he turned around and faced the safety of the nest-site.
