The current CPE of choice, here in
The Cattery, is a
Huawei HG622.
So far, LAN-side, I have only used three out of the four Ethernet ports. Quite recently I decided to try the wireless connection. After a slow, methodical configuration of the wireless interface of the HG622 and of my laptop computer I attempted to activate a wireless connection. The end result . . . failure.
The laptop computer sees the signal without any problem. It appears that the failure arises during the attempt to authenticate a secure connection. Attached below is a screen-scrape of the configuration page. I have tried TKIP, AES and TKIP+AES encryption. All were failures. As there is no obvious means to configure the HG622's wireless interface without encryption, I am at a loss as to what to try next.
Hence this request to any fellow Kitizen who also owns a HG622. Have you been able to successfully configure a wireless connection?
