I havent commented, because theres so much different stuff thats been said. Im not sure if even Sky themselves know what they are going to do yet
I was told a few months ago by someone supposedly in authority at telephonica/o2 that o2 migrations were to commence on the 1st of Aug. Things may have been a bit delayed, but it would certainly appear that o2 customers are going to be moved over to the sky msans. So do you really think sky are going to keep Be MSANs running when they may only have a handful of users - I think not. Take my msan, once the o2's have gone and the other be users migrated elsewhere*.. its just not going to be viable.
*Speak to any pleb around here and theyve never heard of Be* all the other Be users I do know have already upsticks because the timing of the sky takeover and fttc arriving in the town was rather opportune. Far more likely theyd put them on the sky MSAN but on their own VP/VC, and run them separate, just like they did with Easynet/UKO for a while. This may then give them the opportunity to configure different profiles etc - but despite all the talk so far, Ive not seen anything which indicates they will retain Be's DLM other than suggest they will look at it.
