B*****y DLA forms............
« on: October 04, 2011, 03:23:50 PM »

AAAAAAARRRGGGHHHHH     :wall: :wall: :wall:

My lad gets DLA, we went through hoops and a trubunal or two to get what he was due, got it renewed and increased a few years back, now he approaches 16.............  :'( :'(

Do they do the sensible thing and go by all the piles of evidence and forms already in use? No we have to do the whole thing again .

I have spent hours filling out forms on his behalf, getting copies of letters and assessments, now all the doctors, specialists, psych's etc. will all be asked again for the same info that they sent last time.

How to get a headache, fill out DLA forms............ endless stupid questions designed to not actally pertain to any condition a human can have and boxes so small a gnat couldn't write in them , the will to live wilts on question 2 of 67.

Dear me, they do like to make it as difficult as possible, don't they? :(

Maybe it is so circuitous deliberately to protect ourselves from this http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/Gloucestershire-mum-accused-pretending-son-cancer/story-13472771-detail/story.html

Colin

If so it fails miserably.  The whole thing should be easy, all they need to do is check with hospitals/GP's/consultants before allowing/disallowing a claim.

If the condition/problem is formally diagnosed/acknowledged by professional health care practitioners the genuine cases go through , the rest should not.

The tests applied now are barring genuine cases and allowing fraudsters.

Hi
quote Maybe it is so circuitous deliberately to protect ourselves from this
never deters crooks .
The more complicated any questionnaire is ,the easier it is for fraudsters to get through(and they will spend time looking for loopholes ) , its more difficult for the people scrutinising them so more mistakes are made .
