jeffbb - thanks for that :)
So my sync has remained stable without dropping :o
but - - I no longer seem to get above 5db noise margin :-\
I also seem to show a constant up/down as in graph.
Not really complaining but is that related to the high sync that I am currently enjoying?

... if it is continuously monitored as Martingoose says it normally calculates based on a 6db margin

For ADSL 2+ it appears to work on a 3dB margin!

Hi

I am not sure about that as the 6db "normal" target SNR Margin is recognized as the normal minimum to maintain a stable connection on a normal line .There is one difference apart from the increased frequency spectrum and that  is in  ADSL1 the minimum bit loading in a bin is 2bit that is 6db where as ADSL2+ allows the minimum to be 1bit that is 3db.

No but you are having the increased synch .If your SNR margin goes above 6db(or whatever your target is )during a session it means that you originally synched during a noisy period .
The converse is true your last graph shows the SNR margin has dropped ,because of some extra noise on the line came on the line at about 7 pm.

Just thought I would update that since all the fiasco of the "REIN" issues I now appear to have a relatively stable connection :)
Just a few drops since it was fixed by the OR chap :)
On another note I have my order in for FTTC due to be visited next Friday.
I will post a new thread in due course just to ask a quick? question :)
Thanks again to all that assisted with my difficulties
