Thank you TD for brightening the pic..  it wasnt the best quality to start with as I snapped the pic with my ipod which doesnt have flash :/...
.....but it gives u guys an idea of how whenever I sit at the PC, then Zac will either be on the keyboard, in front of the monitor..  or sat on my knee.

Im actually very fortunate..   I have 2 very handsome kittehs (but Im very biased)!
Im still amazed that no-one else wanted Ziggy and hadnt snapped him up, but as a friend said, it must have been fate and he was "waiting for me".   The both of them are very close - as can be seen in this video

Re Simon's Cat - have you got both of the books ? Absolutely stunning.

I'll say you're very fortunate - you live in Blackpool, don't you ? Wonderful, wonderful place. Me and SWMBO are hoping to get in a short break there before the end of the year. I can't wait to get up the Tower and stand on the glass floor.

Re Pussycats in general - SWMBO has always had cats, even a pair of Siamese at one time. After a MESSY divorce a few years ago, she went to the local RSPCA rescue centre and asked for the cat that had been there the longest. Now, he REALLY was a handsome little s*d , and he knew it !!!! He was quite old when she got him, and sadly he has gone now, but she did give him an extra couple of years of relative luxury. When he went, I insisted on taking her to the RSPCA place again and she picked out the most beautiful black cat, whose name is Fergie, who had been in the Rescue Centre for about 18 months. She's not too keen on being picked up, and spends pretty much all of her time, eating or sleeping - it's a grand life being a cat, I suppose.

Yes they sleep and play together. 
Even after Ziggy had the op on his hip and was a bit immobile,  Zac kept him groomed and entertained him by lying on the other side of the bathroom door and the 2 of them would play patty paws under the door for hours.
Funny enough feeding time is about the only time their is a bit of ranking order that goes on.. Zac always has first dibs.. and if its anything particularly to his liking he moves away from Zigster.  Zac can also get a wee bit jealous if he thinks Im giving Ziggy too much fuss and will muscle in, and assert his dominance as 'Alpha' but aside from that they are great friends.
