Moving home and BT
« on: August 12, 2011, 11:46:39 AM »

Not sure if I am posting this in the correct place, but here goes ........

We are moving home soon (not news here) and I have placed my order with BT HomeMove for both phone and broadband to be stopped at our current home (we have a BT package) and started at our new address some days later.  When I place the order by phone, I was given a number for the new landline, which I know cannot be guaranteed.  On looking at the BT HomeMove web page for my order, at first it showed the new number, but now, 4 days later it shows a DFQ number.  Does anyone know what that means please?

Well I can't post it here but on the advice of one of our members I googled for the answer and was directed to the Urban Directory :o

Excuse my continued ignorance, but what is Sim provide code?  None the wiser Colin

PS - the Google reference is one I looked at before I asked the question and that just left me none the wiser too.
