Greetings to all

My name is Mike Boughton, I live in Western Australia. I am married to a wonderful woman that has put up with me for over 20 years. We have two sons.
Currently I am studying Certificate 4 in IT Networking and hope to pass the CompTIA Network Plus exam. So I hope to talk to experienced people about differenct aspects and concepts of networking. I don't want my homework done for me, I just want to be able to get direction on where to look for info, search terms, and to generally chat.

What would be the best forum topic to talk about synchronous digital hierarchy? Or is it termed SONET in the UK?

I've moved your note on the subject to Broadband Technology, but I think you may struggle to find anyone who knows anything about it.

Cheers for that Eric. I'll see if I can get a hit over there. I have signed up to two UK forums and I must say everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Australian forums tend to get very strict and stuffy. They'll delete a thread as quick as look at it without even discussing the issue.

As for having a look at my other post Silversurfer44, don't feel sorry, thanks for having a look. I'm slowly getting some responses from a couple of other forums and piecing things together and doing extra research as I learn new terms etc..
This forum has been very friendly. If nothing else it's been nice talking to others in other parts of the world.
