The whole thing has turned into a rushed job.
Considering the original release date of (Jan 2006) has now come and gone I suppose they feel they need to rush it-up a little.
This is one person who most certainly will not be using it, (not even a free version) there are far too many "quirks" in it for my liking, such as media player, not allowing you to play copies, plus whatever else it has hidden away.
I re-loaded XP last week, then DL "ALL 50 updates" which took another 1 GB of space.
If MS were to come clean in the beginning as to exactly how much space is really required, then I think most people would think twice.
Instead of feeding all these so called security patches in drips and drabs, some of which have been proved to be spyware.
Then there is the issue of "which version to purchase"
