I.E 9 & Adobe flash player
« on: July 16, 2011, 10:28:07 AM »

Ever since I have installed Internet Explorer 9 I am unable to view videos i.e BBC i player. My flash player is the up to date version 10.3.181.34,
I have browsed the Adobe website & also Microsoft & it does appear that there is an issue with I.E 9 & flash player but nothing I have tried will resolce it. I have even uninstalled flash player & reinstalled it after I was told by BBC i player that I needed flash player to view it,despite the fact that it was already installed.
My OS is Vista home premium 32bit & I would appreciate any help please.

What method did you use to uninstall the flash player?

Use the Adobe flash uninstaller

When I log on to iPlayer the video starts up but keeps going on & off so it is impossible to view.
No problem at all when I had IE8 but I want to keep IE9 as I find it so much better & I cannot understand why it doesn't work with IE9
Thanks for your interest.
