About this map

The UK's first interactive map showing accurate information on broadband take-up, speeds and availability has been produced by Ofcom, using data provided by communications providers.

It forms part of Ofcom's ongoing work to provide useful information about broadband in the UK.

Ofcom intends to publish a more detailed map later this year.

Hrmph. It's not very interactive, and the data resolution is pretty coarse. Wonder why they didn't resolve the data down to the postcode level.
I guess it's fairly interesting though.

Cheers,

I guess it's more use to strategic planners (if they exist) than to individuals.

I'm hoping that, as it is a "first attempt", Ofcom will listen to grumbles and improve things for their next release of the map. :-\
