Yes, that reflects my experience with these pictures. I didn't twiddle the colour balance at all, but I did give a small boost to the saturation and apply a bit of sharpening.

They are lovely photos Eric, so nice to see pics of bluebells in the woods when one isn't always able to get out to see them for real.

I guess it depends on how "good" or "faithful" your camera is, plus filtering as noted above.
Film is rather different to digital of course.........

Camera brand and/or quality does not come into it, nor does film v digital.
None of the non-specialised sensors/films can cope truly with ultra-violet light .........need fancy stuff for that.
