MS security update will not install
« on: September 25, 2007, 11:28:16 PM »

I got one machine (XP Pro) that this MS security update will not install  ... Vulnerability in Microsoft XML Core Services Could Allow Remote Code Execution (936227)...
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms07-042.mspx

I have done a 'google' search but could not find anything.

Anybody else had any problems ?.

Hi. The errors well there is none , that's the odd thing about it.

If I use MS update system, it tells me there is an update so I download it, check what it is and I use Advance mode not express, click install then it goes through the normal download/install motions, reboot, then after a few minutes up comes the icon in the system tray and it's there again, same update file .

When I get some time I will see what some of my other XP machines on my network are doing with this update .
