A call for testers please
« on: March 31, 2011, 01:56:31 PM »

G'Day All,

Shortbut important ask.

Could any of you out there who are on the 21CN Platform with any provider list me the following details:

1) ISP
2) Modem/Router
3) Issues seen and if restored what fixed it.

I have found issues on the 21CN Platform however I am trying to find out if is the platform causing the issue or something else.

Secondly could any of you who use ADSL 2+ please list the following:

1) ISP
2) Modem/Router
3) Issues seen and if restored what fixed it.

And again this is for the same reason.

Kindest Regards,
Leo

Adsl 2

Isp:Enta
Router: Netgear dg834gt
Issues: constant faults with disconnections, Upstream snr has been all over the place from day one of adsl 2, cant keep a connection for more than 2 days "old 20cn would hold for weeks" loads more but would take weeks to write it all

I would like to say that All the LLU services in our are have no such faults, Just the Bt side of Adsl 2

Hi Leo,

(Some may not know that Cranleigh THCN is in the process of 21CN upgrades and Zen seem to be the leaders !
I wonder if that is anything to do with well versed call staff in sunny Lancashire rather then in Asia ? !!)

Herewith all the data I have from THCN after the 21CN upgrade.
There have been 2 administrative cock-ups (hardly surprising) but all services seem to have migrated perfectly.
I've yet to detect any other’s ISP service with 21CN on it.

Kind regards,
Walter

A) Zen Thompson 585 V7 (I think). Got disconnected during change-over but was restored once your Customer Services talked to your accounts dept.
(Unknown modem speeds, but at least as good)

B) Zen 2Wire 2700HGV restarted perfectly
