It did......the 10 minutes worth was lovely 

Not much planned today.....New car still at the garage with an electrical fault.They don't know what's causing it so a Ford field engineer is coming on Wednesday to try and sort it.

Have got a Ford Fiesta courtesy car.......just the job for someone who is 6.2" and has bad arthritis in his legs 

Needless to say that Sue is using it while I am unable to get out for the time being

Other than that life couldn't be better

Tis nice and sunny here this morning but cold with it....and looking out of the window now I see the cloud building, so perhaps our sun won't last too long either 

Sorry to hear you're having problems with the new car Uncy...what a pain (literally for you with that courtesy car!)....hope it's sorted soon but how frustrating that the peeps who should be able to sort it don't know why it's like it is...let's hope the new guy will find the reason pdq.

Not much going on here (yawn)....though something to look forward to...shopping!!!  Yayy...erm... nah....I didn't mean it...I certainly don't look forward to that but needs must et al.

Must just say that we have seen some sparrows return to our front garden this morning....they haven't been in there for a long time, in fact haven't seen them in the back garden either for a couple of months.  Was delighted to see them out there this morning though after their absence

Well its bright warm and sunny where I am today. 
Saturday broke local records as it was 30 degrees centigrade (think I got that right converting from 82 farenheit) Lots of brush fires by the main roads and 20 000 acres have gone up in smoke just a walk away to the north. 
So sunday it became a bit cold and blustery and turned to sleat and snow by midday. No I'm not in Norfolk anymore 

As for electrical faults UncleUB We got a Volkwagen Jetta which insists on sending a morse code message from the dash for most of the time. Looked up how to fix it, Oh boy, thats some major dismanteling of the interior to get at the little switch to possibly solve it. Hope your problem will be much simpler to fix
