Just to clarify, that IS a genuine Microsoft web site.
Or, if you don't trust it, look here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/internet-explorer/products/ie/home

I've been running the RC on a test system for a while; seems OK.  ;)

Just downloaded it even though I rarely use it.Firefox is my default browser and also use Opera and Chrome(which I am starting to like)

I am using Vista and the only thing was my calendar sidebar gadget doesn't work anymore, its just blank. It is the original one that came pre installed, all other gadgets are fine.
I found another one and thats ok so no problem....strange though  :shrug2:

Good grief.   I don't doubt it, HP's and Adrian's word is good enough for me.  But shouldn't responsible software producers be encouraging users to be prudent and to AVOID downloading software, that may appear legit', but from unknown/unfamiliar websites?

Anyroads I'll personally be giving it a miss until there's more feedback on compatibility issues, or any new security loopholes.  I suspect I may not actually have a choice, since my windows boxes range only from Win 95 to XP.    ;D

Got it. It works. Hasn't crashed yet. Running on Vista in VMWare Player on Slackware Linux host.
Cheers,
