Floydoid, sorry for the delay in replying to your last post above, all the problems reported seem to be with XP Sp2

Well that's what I'm running, and since installing S&D 1.5 I've run an update and done one scan with no apparent problems.

I use XP sp2 on my computers for the family and I have only updated one at the moment, but not having any problems,
although I do use it in 'Advance' Mode. Go to the mode tab at the top of the page and click advance then you can configure it with the setting tab.
