My nephew is in hospital for some time, and wants an iPhone for internet access.
There are lots of plans around, and I would like some practical advice please.
The networks seem to offer 500Mb, 750Mb or 1Gb per month. Not so long ago, 1Gb was a decent data cap for broadband, but what does this get you on an iPhone?
Also, Orange and Vodafone mention WiFi. Does all data come from a WiFi hotspot, or does it come via the phone network? How would I find out if the hospital is covered by a Wifi?
Any thoughts from iPhone users please?
