Dead Battery
« on: September 06, 2010, 02:39:40 PM »

My wife's Nokia 2760 appears to have a dead battery, after charging it she tried to use it but the phone was dead.

I replaced the battery with the one from my phone, same spec, no use.

When I replaced my battery in my phone that too was completely dead/drained.

I have mine back on charge but after 20 minutes or so there appears to be no charge in it yet.

Can anyone help?

Pete

It sounds as though your wife's phone has a short-circuit, which may have permanently damaged both batteries.

:-[I am so embarrassed, we took both phones to the arphone Warehouse shop where we bought them, the young man just switched them back on! :-[

We both tried that before but that failed, amybe he had the magic touch.

Sorry for being such a dork folks! :'(

Thanks anyway.
